Actuarial Business Analyst

CTC provides specialist illustration and administration systems to the Financial Services Industry. Its proposition relies on demonstrating a high degree of understanding of its Client’s requirements and the market drivers that give rise to them.
Continuing expansion means we are now looking for Actuarial staff to support the implementation, testing and development of product illustration systems for UK and offshore products in the Life, Pensions and Investment space.
In addition, CTC are one of the primary providers of systems and services for Pensions De-risking Exercises. The role includes supporting developments in this fast changing market area and becoming involved in the detail of specific exercises particularly the production and quality assurance of TVAS reports.

Responsibilities, Skills and Experience:

  • Provide understanding of product illustration rules and methods together with practical involvement in the detailed analysis, definition and testing of implemented solutions – knowledge of projection and illustrations rules (gained in a technical support or testing team) is an advantage.
  • Analyze CTC’s client requirements and assist in the design and development of appropriate solutions.
  • For De-risking projects: provide CTC’s software clients with support and advice on the use of CTC’s products; where CTC are providing bureau services to analyze Scheme benefits, set-up and/or check TVAS runs and liaise with Clients during the process.

  • You will be making good progress through the exams and have strong Excel skills.
